Lost … again

Filed under: Television — Culture Beat @ 10:06 am

johnlockeThe folks over at EW online are ramping up for the return of Lost on ABC. This article by Doc Jensen solicits your burning Lost questions and promises to try and get answers. (Of course, if you believe, as many do, that the writers are making it up as they go along, then nary an answer will be given.)

Doc J’s article, though, takes an interesting turn as he compares each season of Lost to a corresponding stanza in Amazing Grace, suggesting that the show really is all about redemption. If he’s right, then John Locke (“the show’s most grace-blessed soul”) is the central figure in the show. He’s the one who will make me stay tuned.

We’ll see in about four weeks.
